A little bit about Jay…

Jay Krupin represents national and international businesses, counseling on effective strategies and providing successful defenses dealing with hospitality labor relations issues. He is co-leader of BakerHostetler’s Labor Relations team with one of the nation’s largest practices on behalf of owners, developers, investors, and asset managers across the hospitality spectrum.

Jay is well-versed in management-union issues and has been engaged to represent corporations in virtually every aspect of labor and employment law. He has successfully negotiated more than 350 collective bargaining agreements and has represented companies in more than 100 union elections and campaigns. Jay is a respected practitioner whose advice has been relied upon by government agencies dealing with labor and employment issues, and he has testified before the U.S. Congress on labor legislation, as well as before the National Labor Relations Board on rulemaking proposals.

For over a decade, Human Resource Executive Magazine has listed Jay on Lawdragon’s Top 100 list of “The Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys”. He is also on Legal 500 list of “Leading Lawyer”, and highly rated by Chambers. A frequent speaker and writer on topics related to his fields of practice, Jay has presented,  has been quoted, and has authored articles in national publications, media, and at industry confabs.
